Hello All!! I know I am not on here nearly as much as I should be! I found an AWESOME site that will, I hope, change that! It's called "Blogging for Books"!! It is great. If you have a blog, and love reading, then this ones a no brainer! I just received my first book and can't wait to read and then post about it! It is all 100% free. You register, choose your book, they ship it to you for free, you read the book then submit your review. I'm WAY Behind! Sorry! =(

Hello all my friends! I am sooo behind on this blog. I really do appologize. What a damn summer though. One of the best in a long ass time! YAY!!Aside from the normal kids being home, we had a few first time concerts, Grown up camping trips, kid and family camping trips, more concerts. Lots of BFFF time! There were a few Eye Opening moments with my crew. All for the better. We are now closer than we have been in 20+ years!

I have been getting all kinds of freebies! YAY! So eventually I want to start a freebie Friday! Just to let you know what I get during the week. I have got everything from cereal to ant-acid's. So please stay tuned for that chapter!

I have started school again this semester. So far Psych 101 is my favorite. English 101 ahhhh not so much. LOL Then there is Humanities 101. EWWWW I look at it as a 3 hour nap! Boring!!!

So, to my People:
I know I promised not to use names and I'll try to stick to that promise. I'll just give you all nick-names.
I think this summer of Topica's was a great one. The best by far in a long ass time. Then our Moment at the Disturbed concert with our Lake Star was a teary one! I Love You All and willbe here for you all no matter what! Im just a phone call or a txt away!

Summer Time

Hello All,
Just a quick Hi to let you all know that I am still here. It has been a crazy ass summer. Concerts, fishing and kids, What could be better!? So far we have been fishing a LOT, and a couple weeks ago we went to Mayhem. (Korn, Rob Zombie, 5 Finger Death Punch, and Many more) We have a Grown up Concert this weekend. Cinderella and Scorpion's. Cant wait. And tonight is Reno night. Just a Grown up night out. All my People are coming from Cali, and were having a Rumbulions Cant walk night! Way over due!

Oh, I had to move. Again! I hate it. My friend Michelle opened up her home to my kids, dogs, and I. Living in a PT Cruiser was not looking fun a all. LOL

In our lives we all have people that come and go. There are the few that hold a special place in our hearts. I am here to share with all of you a few of my favorite people. I will be using Nick~Names as much as I can.

Sissy

My Girl! How to describe her? She is definitely her Mother's Daughter!! Very opinionated, and honest. Don't get her going because she will let you have it with everything she's got! It's not that she isn't a caring person, she will just tell you like it is even if she knows it might hurt your feelings. And for that I Love Her! (There are many more reasons, that's just one of many!) You have to watch how you word things around her because she will be the first to let you know the "Proper" way to say things. She is VERY selective on who she lets her guard down around. If you are one of the chosen few, there isn't a damn thing that she wouldn't do for you! She is a very easy going, and laid back person with the brain to back it all up. When she ventures out into the world I really feel sorry for those who tell her she "Can't" do or accomplish anything. In that aspect, she is like her Mother with an "Oh Yea? Watch me" attitude. But she is not one to make decisions. Don't give her a lot of choices or you may end up where ever you are all day! :)

My words I use to describe her are:
Strong, Opinionated, Honest, Friendly, Smart as hell (She helps me w/ college homework), Beautiful, Loyal, Dedicated!

Pride

I was thinking on my way home from school today about the word "Pride", and the different ways it is used. One feels pride at a job well done. Be it at home, school, or even work. There is the pride of buying a home. One can say, "Yup, That's MY home." There is also the pride of a new car. (Or used and new to you) One could say, "That's My ride". Of all the different variations of the word, I think that the Pride one feels for their children is the best. Because you know that you had a hand in it. And when it comes down to it, we all feel that pride! Whether we are birth parents, step parents, or even adoptive parents. There are all different forms of families these days, and I can guarantee you, if you ask any of them, they can give you at least 10 reasons why they are proud of someone!!! So I ask my readers this, Who are you proud of and why?? What role does that person play in your life? Is it a Big/Small role? Will all the petty stuff matter in the morning? My Saying's

Well among my Peeps, I am known for making up off the wall saying's. The madder I am, the more "Interesting" they get. I will not repeat the one I came up with when the Ex told me he wanted a divorce. Let's just say that my daughter's boyfriend at the time, told her he didn't know that I knew those kind of words. (It was a doozy, lets just say it called his sexuality into play) Here are just a few:
1) Shit~Ass
2) Dirty Douche on Welfare Day
3) Pity Party; Table for 1
4) Colostomy Receptacle

That's just a few. I guess the lesson here is, if you don't piss me off, you will not have to experience any of my saying's. LOL

So, why does it seem that if it rains, it pours? When one bad thing happens, it always comes in pairs. I do know that it all has to do with the energy you put off. I really try hard to have a positive outlook on life in general. And without thinking about it, I try to find the positive in all things, good or bad. Especially the bad. There is a book out there about positive thinking, and the impact it has on all our lives. It is really a good and powerful book. Makes you think.

Well I think I am done for now. I am freezing. It is snowing here now. You would never have known that just a few days ago it was in the high 60's, low 70's. And at 1 pm when I came home from school it was 29 degrees. Eeewwwww!!! I hope this weekend will be better. We are going over the hill. Weather permitting. LOL OK, talk to ya ll later!! ^..^

Love Sux

Ok, so I have a lot to say, I just dont know how to put it into words. We have a friend thats having a lot of MAN drama. As per my warning on the top of my page, I like her so will not be using her real name. We'll call her CA. She is with a guy, (Who we'll call Dude) that will not give her a commitment. He is sleeping with her, lives in her home, and shares her bedroom. He is "Playing" house, but will not step up. I totally get CA's side of it. She is alone in the shit-ass state she's in, and all she has is him and her kids. I think she needs to pack up his shit from her bedroom and dont kick him out of the house, just her room and keep it at room-mates only. If he really cares for her, maybe something will change on his end. (I really doubt it though) I am SOOO glad that I dont have to deal with man drama. I am very content going to school and doing my thing. Living here in Nevada, all that Nevada produces are cry babies, and momma's boys!!! I really dont think that the woman should be more emotionally secure than the man. For a man to cry at the drop of a dime because you used the wrong tone in your voice is not normal!!! Any way, back to CA!!! I really think that she needs to kick his ass to the curb!! But that wont happen, so treat him like a room-mate and not give him any nooky to see how he likes it!!! Fledgling Fisherman

As I sit on the shore
I begin to think
"What a bore",
All of a sudden out of the sky
Comes a young bald eagle
To give fishing a try,
He gives a swoop
He gives a dive,
Needing that fish
So he can survive,
After 9 passes
He finally got the fish,
I know what he's thinking
"Damn! What a dish!"

Spring Break

Well I know I am really lagging on this blog. I have been on spring break all this last wee. And what did I do you may ask? I fished all week long! I found a new set up for fishing at Topaz Lake, and catch at least 2 a day. I am getting dark from sitting by the water all day. I love it. I am going to share few poems I wrote about fishing for my English class. On of them is about a fledgling bald eagle. It was awesome!! About 20 yards from where I was sitting, the fledgling was trying to catch a fish. He made like 9 or 10 passes before he finally got it. It was great. I think I will add them in different posts.

Damn Krazy

Hi All,
Sorry I havent been on here in a while. I really didnt expect school to take up ALL of my time. Good thing is though I am at the top of my classes. In Criminal Justice I am his "A" student. Last week he told everyone that they need to be doing everything that I do. I love it. I did have to drop my math class. I skipped a level in math and thought I would be ok. Well I wasn't. I described my teacher as a hamster on meth. I even told her that my brain can't process as fast as she talks. Then I have my english teacher. He is sooo cute. He is pushing his 70's and wears the pants up past the belly button. It's too damn funny. Let's see, Oh yea my reading class!! I have Mr. Rick again. He was my english teacher from last semester. I just love him. We got lucky in that class. There has to be a minimum of 8-12 students for the class to go, and we have 4. LMFAO it's a LOT of fun. We had a raffel for a fancy schmancy dictionary, and I WON!!! YAY!! What else is going on??? OH!!! I bought a street bike. I am way stoked about that too. It is a 1981 Yamaha SR250. The guy was asking $1200 and I offered him $800 and he took it. I know what your thinking, an '81? Well it only has 2000 miles on it. It sat in a storage unit for 15+ years. It is just my size. I love him. I call him "Lil' Shit"!!! He's too damn cute! Hmmm, thats really about it I think. If I have more I'll update. I only have 1 follower so far, so till I get more, I'll just update as I go! Monday

Hi All, Well I cant wait for Monday. I start school again!! YAY!! Also I am going to start my blog schedule. I am going to change Figure it out Friday to Friendship Friday. I will post a different friend each Friday. They will all have a different name, but will know who they are. I am really excited about that one. I have been writing all night about each friend in my blog notebook. Man if I ever lost that I'd be screwed. I have a blog I would like you all to please go and check out. The wind kicked up a small breeze today so my Internet has been out. I have to come up with a better solution for the Internet. I can use it at school as well though.
We are going to have girls shopping day out tomorrow. I cant wait for that. My daughter and her 3 friends. Yay! Well all, it's bed time now. Were going to have a busy day tomorrow. Hi All, Sorry I have not been up on the blog. I have satallite internet and it has been out for 3 days due to all the damn snow we have been getting here. (Im in Nevada, about 30 minutes from South Lake Tahoe Ca. They got 10+ feet) So I am working on my "Figure it out Friday" post. It is going to be on all my close friends and will be titled, "Frenz: Gotta Have 'Em!" I have to go to town while we have sunshine so I will post more later on today!

Blog Agenda

OK all, with the Satalite being out a BIG chunk of yesterday I got to thinking about this blog thing and how to make it more interesting. Here is a list of things I had in mind. If you want something different, Please let me know. But till I hear from people, this is how it will be.

• Monday: Random Music Monday: I will pick lyrics from a Random song to see who can get it. And not necessarily my Metal either.
• Tuesday: Talk to me Tuesday: It will be an open book. Whatever you want to talk about within reason. (No sex or drugs please) Whether its life, Help, Advice, Ideas, Crafts, Well you get the picture.
• Wednesday: Wild Life Wednesday: I will continue my single life adventures.
• Thursday: Random Thought Thursday: A quote or saying depending on how I feel when I get up. More than likely there will be a good tangent to go along with it. :)
• Friday: Figure it out Friday: I'll figure it out when I get there. Maybe a good riddle to figure out, maybe not. We'll see. ;)
• Saturday: Study With Me Saturday: An update about my week and adventures of college life. What it's like going back to school after all these years. Maybe a session of griping, or where I'm stuck with school.
• Sunday: Family Fun Day Sunday: Fun, Cheap/Free, and Easy family projects. Or just things to do with your family. Whether you have 1 kid or 15.

OK all, this is not set in stone. If there is anything you want to talk about, or don't like my topics, PLEASE let me know. Good thing is that I can change it. First Time

Well this is my first installment of many to come. Not really sure where to start, so I'll start at the beginning. I grew up in a house of drugs and violence, being in 3rd grade when I saw a real close family friend overdose on heroin. From that point on I told myself that my kids will NEVER be exposed to that lifestyle.
Fast forward 6 years when I met the Love of my Life! My Bff at the time was dating his Bff and all I ever saw was a picture. Well that's all it took. I was in love! I was 14 and he was 19. Now I know your all thinking what a perv. It really wasn't like that. I always hung out with a older crowd because I felt that people my age didn't get me. (Except for a chosen few that I am still Bff's with now.)
So I never had the normal "Dating" life that all teens should get to experience. But I was Happy. Got pregnant, and had a baby at 16. My world was good. As any marriage, we had ups and Downs, but nothing that we couldn't work through.
Again fast forward, I had my boy at 23 and by 26 we moved from Cali. to Nevada. Remember I was "In Love". The deal was that his parents would help with the kids while we went to school. I stood by his side while he went to college, then the police academy. Telling my self the whole time that it would be my turn soon. Well soon never came! He got on at a local police department, then struck up a "Fling" with the court clerk, and by 31 I was divorced!
That was it, my world was crushed! I didn't even know how to pay bills, or make a budget. I never had to before that. So I called my BFF, and we spent hours going over money coming in and money going out. I finally got it! I am a pro at it now.
Bad thing was, he was seeing "Her" just 2 blocks from our home. Talk about a kick in the ass! I got the kids and I into counseling that seemed to help for a while, but nothing I did seemed to fill that void of having my Best Friend of so many years gone. Even the dog (Raven) was depressed. But, being Mom, I had to pick up the pieces and keep going. I called it my game face. I would do what I had to do to get through my day come home and cry myself to sleep every night. Over time it got better. Not easier, but better.
